在春节放鞭炮是我们中华民族的传统习俗之一。在年前家家户户都买好鞭炮，在大年夜放。在我的老家——湖南的农村就是这样。
在大年三十那晚，我先选了一个叫‘黄金鼠’的烟花。在阅读完注意事项后，我迫不及待的拉着爸爸的手，冲出屋子，将打火机交给他，让爸爸来点燃导火线。导火线点燃了，我目不转睛地盯着，生怕遗漏了一个细节。导火线烧完了，它开始一边转动一边发出火花，但是这个过程并没有持续很久。我想这是燃料很少的原因吧!
我放了一个烟花后，觉得兴致未尽，又连着放了两个。最精彩的最特别的烟花，要数“降落伞烟花”我们将它点燃后，将它放在地上。随着一声爆炸声，“降落伞烟花”飞上了天。在爆炸声结束后不久，一个迷你降落伞从天而降，我知道这个迷你降落伞是烟花里的，所以我给它取名为“降落伞烟花”。
最后，我们点燃了一个一百发的烟花。在“砰砰砰”的声音中，一些烟花冲上云霄，在空中绽放为一朵朵五颜六色的“花儿”;有的“花儿”绽放以后变成了即将消失的“小星星”;有的“花儿”绽放以后变成了“流星雨”;有的“花儿”绽放以后变成了“时钟”……
在鞭炮声里，新的一年又来了，我们又长大了一岁!
